I am primarily responsible for ensuring the timeliness and accuracy of content on CongressDaily's Web site, and creating and maintaining Web pages, graphics and features outside the main content management system.

I was responsible for the production of all of the association's print and online publications.

State Healthcare Reform Associate -- 1997-1999

The focus of my job was to track state legislative and regulatory actions related to the State Children's Health Insurance Program, mental health insurance parity and Medicaid. I also analyzed contracts between state Medicaid agencies and private contractors.

Senior Information Center Associate -- 1994-1997

Developing marketing materials for the association's many educational and advocacy publications was the mainstay of my job. I also responded to requests from members of the public for educational materials and referrals to local organizations for mental health help.

The Press Enterprise Newspaper

Editorial News Assistant -- 1987-1992

In addition to writing a weekly feature and other articles for one of the largest newspapers in California, I also performed research for breaking news stories and helped developed a database to track all of the temperatures for cities throughout Riverside County since 1900.
